New Sector Agreement with concern for workers

On November 22, at the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, in the presence of the Minister, a solemn ceremony of signing the Sector Agreement on organizations of the oil and gas industries and the construction of oil and gas facilities of the Russian Federation for 2023-2025 was held. The social partners managed to achieve the main thing - the understanding that the situation of workers in the industry should not deteriorate.

As Alexander Korchagin, President of the ROGWU, noted, the main task for the trade union was to preserve all the existing benefits, guarantees and compensations. “Ahead of entering into negotiations in May this year, we held working meetings with representatives of large oil and gas companies. The parties understood that the current norms of the Sector Agreement shoul be preserved”, - the head of the ROGWU emphasized. “

As a result of the negotiations, we managed to supplement the Sector Agreement with a number of new norms. Thus, the minimum monthly wage approach has been updated in the direction of increase. The conditions for wage indexation have not changed, the amount of a lump-sum cash payment for compensation for injury to an employee as a result of an accident at work or an occupational disease has been retained. Sections on work with youth and promotion of employment of the population have been expanded.
