On May 19, 2020, a meeting of the Youth Council of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia was held. It was attended by Alexandra Mazur, a specialist in the socio-economic department of the apparatus of the Trade Union, a representative of the ROGWU on the quota of the Association of Trade Unions of Basic Industries and Construction.
As part of the meeting, a number of issues were discussed: on holding the All-Russian Youth Trade Union Forum of the FNPR "Strategic Reserve 2020"; on the conduct in 2020 of the youth trade union project "Quest" Volunteers of Solidarity "; approbation of distance forms of communication with a trade union asset; formation of a single register of young union activists; about the results of the May Day action; on the inclusion of the finalists of the All-Russian youth trade union forums of the FNPR in the personnel reserve of the composition of the elected bodies of trade union organizations.
Of the major events this year in which our trade union activists can take part, the FNPR has planned the holding of the traditional All-Russian youth trade union forum of the FNPR "Strategic Reserve 2020". The aim of the Forum is to modernize the trade union movement, including through the formation of a stable network of youth councils (commissions) of FNPR affiliates as a resource for information work and the implementation of solidarity campaigns. The mechanism for selecting participants consists of three stages: regional, district, federal. More detailed information on participation in the Forum will be sent to the structural organizations of the Trade Union after stabilizing the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection. Also, at a meeting of the FNPR Youth Council, they discussed the possibility of becoming a member of the Forum, bypassing the qualifying stages, if the young union activist becomes a member of the Trade Volunteers of Solidarity quest project (detailed information will be posted on the FNPR Youth Council website in June 2020).
